Hello To All,

Twitter Arcade will no longer offer download packages to new or exsisting members. Over the last few weeks we have seen lots of information flying around about who can and who cant have games, Owners locking games so they only work at certain game sites and some saying we cant release games until a number of days have passed. Talk about treating everybody like children. For a while i have followed these rules to keep everyone happy until i decided that the only people i should be keeping happy are Twitters members.

So from today all Platinum accounts have been closed i have removed all downloads packages and all games are now free to download to all members, i have set it to 20 per day to see how we go as i normally only add maybe 10 - 15 new games each day, If in the next few weeks im asked to increase the limit i may do.

Im sure that im going to get some grief for doing this but as long as our members are happy we will carry on as we are.

If you are a site owner have fun getting your free games.

Any comments are welcomed either via a pm to myself or simply reply to this post.

Just having a few members taking advantage now by joining with 2 and 3 accounts to get more than 20 a day...

I think that 20 is very generous. I loathe it though that people have tried to take advantage of that generosity...

I too have noted all the crapola that is going around about the games.... there are so many wrongs, but everyone thinks they are right.. So on my arcade I use mostly Mochi games for now. The developer gets revenue on clicked ads and they get sponsored as well by the larger gaming sites. I hate ads, but what is 15 - 20 sec?? And I feel that I am actually supporting the original coder. However, there are some great games on these arcades that are not at Mochi and so sparingly, I will take you up on your offer, but I will not be greedy.

We have half set up Mochi games but could not complete the setup lol..

As long as i own and as long as im paying other sites for games i will offer games for free to all members, i understand that certain people will be angry with my choice but hey to be fair they are not their games to sell in the first place.

we are considering allowing the same ( 20 / day ) but only on a post per day basis, the forum could really use and benefit from some quality content

so is it set up now for us to post and recieve a download?
i would rather contribute to a post and download a game instead of being a dick and just taking the swf file.

members are allowed to download 20 games / day on a 5 post per day basis

special groups like downloaders are allowed on a 2 post per day basis

many people might not like being forced to post but this great forum could really benefit from quality posting

please do not flood or spam the board :)

bonjour , vous avais changer la façon de télécharger vos jeux vous demander de faire des postes personnellement je préfère vous payé un abonnement pourquoi la réponse et simple faire des postes pour les anniversaires ou autres que j'estime me pas être intéressant cela me sert a rien je suis d'accord pour faire vivre votre arcade avec des postes si cela son intéressante et constructifs un débat sur un sujet sur la semaine ou un concours de graphisme ect ect mais que cela soit intéressante aussi pour les membres qui postes et que nous puissions avoir plaisir a faire des postes donc pour moi il faut des sujets intéressante pour faire des postes de qualités sinon cela me sert a rien daniel


hello, you had to change how to download games ask you to do the job personally I prefer you pay a subscription and why the answer to simple positions for birthdays or other that I am not that interesting to me is pointless I agree to live your arcade shifts if there's an interesting and constructive debate on a topic of the week or a combination of graphics ect ect but this is also interesting for the members who post and we can have happy to do jobs for me so it is necessary to make the subjects interesting positions qualities otherwise it is pointless me daniel

I run a vb forum and ask members to post one time to be able to download 15 games..

I get that message when trying to download a game.

If everyone is to post, than were are they ? I only see a few mis. everyday, and they are the same ones

I may be the only daily,

I thought standard 'Members' were 5 posts per day to download and those who are 'Downloaders' (the ones who have donated in some way) are 2 posts, maybe because your not in the 'Downloaders' GuyFord thats why its 5.

you have to post 5 tmes per day to post, but there are hardly any sub forums to talk in so its just going to create unwanted response and hurt the content quality of this forum
